Would you like to create your own yarns? Don’t want to invest in a spinning wheel? “Twist in Time I” (Day 1) will introduce the student to the Drop Spindle, including the technique and some history of the tool. “Twist in Time II” (Day 2) covers the use of the spinning wheel, operation and history. Both classes will explore different fibers, twists and uses of yarns. Students will learn the skill of spinning yarns from a variety of fibers and take home a skein of finished yarn.

Time: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (with lunch break from 11 a.m. to noon)

Class Fee:

Twist in Time I - $40.00
Twist in Time II - $55.00 or both days - $95.00

Class Size: 2-6 students; Minimum age 13 years.
