Gin Lammert, Instructor

Gin Lammert, best known for her portrait work commissioned by patrons since 1974, has participated in and won numerous awards at juried art shows held in the Midwest. Her work can be found in both private and corporate collections throughout the United States, England, Germany, and Japan. Gin has changed her signing three times--there are a few rare pieces signed as South; followed by a body of work spanning 25 years as Sorak; and, since 2001, as Lammert. Gin has been working with Soft Pastels since 1995, creating award-winning portraits, landscapes and still lifes.  She is currently a member of Mid America Pastel Society and participates in juried art shows throughout the Midwest. Soft Pastel, Oil, Pencil, and Ink are the primary mediums in which she works, although she designs and paints on glass for a major United States stained glass studio that focuses on both the restoration of old and the creation of new church windows.
