This two-session workshop will cover materials and techniques used by the Mississippi Culture Native Americans to produce hand-built pottery. It will cover processing local clay, shaping pot forms and using incising and engraving tools. The pots produced will be fired at a later date to be determined by weather conditions. Students will be notified well in advance of pit firing date.
